Mike Kallmeyer anchors Ohio's 9 O'Clock News and Primetime Ohio Monday through Friday.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Mike has covered Ohio news for 18 years. From elections that shape our state and nation to Ohio troops returning from Iraq, he has traveled to the four corners of the state and points between.
Mike has been the recipient of numerous awards during his tenure at ONN, including two Emmys for Writing and three AP Best Ohio Anchor awards.
A graduate of Ohio University, Mike began his broadcast career as a sports producer at ONN's Cincinnati affiliate, WKRC-TV. From there, he moved on to WTAP-TV in Parkersburg, WV, where he served as sports anchor and eventually morning news anchor. Even though he worked in West Virginia, Mike never left the Buckeye state, living across the Ohio River in Marietta and Belpre.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys traveling with wife Jill and 2-year old daughter Elizabeth. An avid sports fan, Mike remains a loyal follower of his hometown Reds and Bengals.
