Ohio Means Business concludes a month long series focused on entrepreneurship in Ohio and its impact on the state’s economic future.

This episode focuses on regional resources available to help entrepreneurs build their ideas into startup companies in northeast and southwest Ohio.

Ohio Means Business showcases a third team participating in the 10x accelerator program, a “boot camp” for young entrepreneurs created in partnership by the Ohio Third Frontier and Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.  Incrwd is creating a loyalty and analytics platform for websites that rewards users for their online contributions.

The program also highlights JumpStart, a non-profit organization coordinating the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Northeast Ohio.  The nationally recognized organization accelerates the progress of high potential, early-stage businesses through public and private resources.  John Dearborn, president of JumpStart, gives an overview of entrepreneurship in the region and highlights the efforts to attract and nurture startups with high-growth potential.  In Addition, Ohio Means Business takes a closer look at new venture development in southwest Ohio through CincyTech, a public-private partnership whose mission is to invest in high-growth startup technology companies.  CincyTech President Robert Coy explains how the organization helps foster entrepreneurship based on the region’s strengths.

The program concludes with an overview of an entrepreneurial accelerator program launching in Cleveland this fall called Bizdom U.  It was founded in Detroit in 2007 by Cleveland Cavaliers majority owner Dan Gilbert, who’s also a serial entrepreneur.  Gilbert is bringing the program to Cleveland to provide entrepreneurs with the necessary training and funding to launch a business.

The latest episode debuts Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and can also been watched Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and 7:30 p.m., and Monday at 12:30 p.m.
