Welcome to the Wild West, located just six miles east of downtown Columbus.
Fort Rapids is central Ohio's largest indoor water park resort, reported ONN's Jessa Goddard.
"A lot of the indoor water parks, you might see one or two tubes coming out of the sides," said Heather Westbrook, with Fort Rapids. "We've got actually seven slides that go in and out and then back in to the water park."
Whether it's zipping down one of the park's water slides or floating in the lazy river, there is something for kids of all ages at Fort Rapids.
"We have the 60,000 square foot indoor water park that features 12 slides, a 1,00 gallon tipping bucket, and we also have a 30 person hot tub as well, for the adults," Westbrook said.
No one can escape the water park's tipping bucket, which sends 1,000 gallons of water down a 40-foot tall interactive tower of fun.
The 84 degree temperature-controlled indoor water park is always the perfect temperature for fun.
Besides the water park, the resort also features the 5,000 square foot Gold Rush Arcade, the Branding Iron Grille and the Copper Star Saloon.
"We're the largest indoor water park resort here in central Ohio. We don't really have anybody anywhere close to us that can offer anything like this," Westbrook said.
While other water parks are winding down from the summer season, it's about to get wild in the Old West.
"December and January and February, (it) is just a madhouse around here," Westbrook said.
For all the adventures at Fort Rapids, you can leave safely leave the sunscreen at home.
