The Christmas Ranch in Morrow is a one-stop shop for holiday magic that has more than ten acres of lights, music and everything Christmas.
It is the brainchild of Mike Fuchs and his wife.
"We started 22 years ago and just kind of grew and grew and grew," said Fuchs."This was an old dude ranch and we refurbished the buildings and put lights everywhere."
An elaborate computer program synchronizes the movements of every light display with song. With only a few clicks, the show begins.
"Each song has a grid that's similar to that and that's how the music and lights are coordinated together," said Fuchs.
The lights fade up-and-down and are in sync with music that includes everything from the Trans- Siberian Orchestra and Bing Crosby.
The entrance at The Christmas Ranch begins with a lighted tunnel which is just the beginning of the more than 350,000 lights you'll see, reported ONN's Lisa Smith.
From an animated forest to Santa's toy factory, the lights are mesmerizing. There's also a building for trains, a bonfire, nativity display, live animals and wagon rides.
You can also visit Santa Claus.
"We work very hard to keep it a Christmas, a family type environment," said Fuchs. "It's someplace where the family can go. It's not high pressure. You can sit around the fire and have hot chocolate, enjoy yourself."
Amy Kennedy and her girls think it's a perfect holiday excursion.
"It's really neat to see all of the different Christmas themes and everything. All the lights, the kids are just completely amazed," said Kennedy.
It definitely puts you in the Christmas spirit.
