Courtney Lyn Bacher never thought that she would be physically attacked or verbally assaulted by a bully at her high school.

"I was by myself, when I had four guys come up and yell at me calling me names. I couldn't escape. I felt like I wasn't worth anything," Bacher said.

The bullying began in eighth grade but it escalated during Bacher's high school years.

Bacher posted a video sharing with friends and strangers how the abuse affected her, reported ONN's Lot Tan.

"I felt that suicide was my only escape. Six attempts in four years is what this bullying led me to," Bacher said.

Bacher said that most of the bullies were teen boys.

In the video, the Butler County teen said that she gets bullied more than one person should have to endure in a lifetime.

"I got called fat, whore, slut, fake, skank, and ugly. I'm so sorry I've got weight problems because the medicine I have to take but does that give you the right to say that about me," Bacher said.

Since the video was posted, the Ross High School senior said that five of her bullies have apologized.

Other teens who did not know Bacher also posted positive comments on her Facebook page.

"Someone told me I saved their life and it meant the world to me," Bacher said.

Ross High School Principal Rick Pate said that Bacher was brave.

"She's a brave young woman for doing this and putting it out there," Pate said.

Pate said that while there are no official reports of Bacher being bullied at school, they are taking it seriously.

Officials plan to work with Bacher to produce an anti-bullying school video.

Bacher is currently in counseling, Tan reported.

She plans to graduate from Ross High School this May and hopes to attend Sinclair Community College in the fall.

School officials tell ONN that every employee in the district has taken anti-bullying training classes.
