In today's economic environment, the role of government and its impact on business is highly debated by lawmakers, business and community leaders. But changes to regulations can also pave a path to new opportunities with the right business strategies. Ohio Means Business examines the regulatory landscape in Ohio.
The program takes a closer look at The Common Sense Initiative, or CSI Ohio. The state's new regulatory review system was launched by the Kasich Administration and is designed to reform state policies that may hinder job creation and business growth. Mark Hamlin, director of regulatory policy in the Lt. Governor’s Office gives us an overview.
Ohio Means Business also explores how governmental regulations impact, change, and create new business strategies with Lance Schneier, adjunct faculty member at Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business. He explains how companies have used effective strategies to navigate through regulatory changes and even grow new business as a result.
