John Langworthy has put up a huge sign in his front yard to draw attention to the fight between him and Hamilton county officials.

Langworthy said he's being forced to move his family after living at the same location for 14 years, along U.S. 27 in Colerain Township.

"I don't want to stay here when they start construction," said Langworthy.

Langworthy said construction is expected to begin this spring. In the meantime, he's fighting to either save his house or get the county to pay for it, reported ONN's Lot Tan.

"Everytime I call, it's the same old crap, they just put me off to someone else," he said.

The Hamilton County Engineer's office plans to build a new exit ramp and widened this road which would cut through Langworthy's front yard. He said it would be only 23 feet from his front porch. County officials are considering paying him for the front yard of his property,  but he said if his family is forced to move, it will cost him more than a $100,000.

"We're not forcing him to move. His property is not directly affect by the proposed land improvements. The county is trying to be fair to all parties," Hamilton County Deputy Engineer Tim Gilday told ONN-TV.

County officials said negotiations to decide how much to pay Langworthy for his house and his property will begin in February.
