Two people are dead following the collapse of a Cleveland business on Brookpark Road Tuesday evening, reported ONN's affiliate WEWS.

According to the Cleveland Fire Department, they arrived at Brookpark Road and West 48th Street at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Crews at the scene said that the building houses Ideal Builders Supply and Fuel Company.

Workers were cutting beams from the building’s second floor when it fell in a direction they weren’t expecting.

The collapse happened at the back of the building, away from Brookpark Road.

Originally, dispatch said that no injuries were reported, but were then told that emergency crews were searching for two possible victims.

Shortly before 6 p.m., fire department spokesperson Larry Gray said one person has died. The second person was found overnight.

The Illuminating Company also has trucks at the scene in order to shut down power to the area.

Ideal Builders Supply distributes construction materials like block retaining walls and patio landscaping blocks, according to its website Idealbuilders.com .
