While walking through this museum, parents will not have to warn their kids to not touch anything. In fact, they should be do just the opposite.
"I was worried that there wasn't going to be an artistic venue for my kids, but we definitely found it here," said Carol Koch-Worrell.
The museum titled "The Works" in central Ohio has something for each of Koch-Worrell's five boys. It's something the place prides itself on, ONN's Stephanie Mennecke reported.
"It's a lot of everything," said marketing director Samantha Harris. "History, art, science, technology and glass blowing is all rolled into one museum."
It's also not just for the younger generation.
"There is really something for everyone including adults," Harris said.
From jewelry making workshops to glass blowing, the entertainment and possibilities for fun are endless.
"It's not something that you find a lot of places so it's a good thing to come and check out," Harris said.
With 30 years of experience under his belt, the museum's glass blower puts on a show for all to see on a daily basis.
"We have live glass blowing demonstrations that people can come in and see when they visit the museum."
The fun is literally everywhere in the museum, Mennecke reported.
"It's a lot of hands on interaction for the kids," Harris said. "That's what we are all about. We are trying to teach by learning through play."
The non-profit organization relies on support from donors and sponsorships. It's support from people around there that don't mind to give.
"I think everyone really wants this close to home," Koch-Worrell said.
