Newt Gingrich spoke at some of Ohio's largest cities on Tuesday, just weeks before the Ohio Primary.
The former House speaker told supporters he wants to adopt a flat tax, reported ONN's Lot Tan.
While some experts don't believe Gingrich has a shot at winning the White House, some supporters disagree.
Supporters said that Gingrich is a candidate that possesses all the skills necessary to help turn around the country.
"He wants to change government and bring America to what it used to be," Supporter Frank Hollister said.
Gingrich attacked President Barack Obama often and hard on Tuesday.
"If you want your children to have jobs and a paycheck come work with us, if you think food stamps and a safety net which turns into a spider web which traps you in poverty you should be with Obama," Gingrich said.
Gingrich had sharp words for rival Mitt Romney, as well. Saying he's too similar to Obama.
Gingrich told supporters both made mistakes when it came to birth control and the Catholic Church.
"Gov. Romney insisted that Catholic hospitals give out abortion pills against religious belief when he was governor," Gingrich said.
The abortion pill is the biggest issue concerning supporter Nick Boschert.
"I'm big fan of Gingrich, support him over Romney, main reason I'm here protesting Obama's decision," Boschert said.
Gingrich also talked about reducing spending, reforming the tax code and energy independence.
Before that can be done Gingrich said supporters need to show up at the polls in four weeks for Ohio's primary.
"We need your help if we do it right, we'll carry Ohio by a huge margin," Gingrich said.
Gingrich also stopped in Columbus and Dayton on Tuesday before he visits to Cleveland on Wednesday.
