Cleveland police are looking for the man they said headbutted a priest before hitting two undercover officers with his car.
According to authorities, the incident happened Monday at The Annunciation of Greek Orthodox Church on West 14th Street in Tremont, ONN's affiliate WEWS reported.
A police report indicates the man had come to the church to discuss working there. The priest said that police the man was already paid $27,000 last October for work that was not yet started.
The priest said that he told the suspect he was going to call police. That's when he told authorities he was headbutted by the man and punched in the head.
The police report said that the suspect ran out of the church and jumped into his car. Two undercover officers arrived, showed their badges and weapons and ordered the man get out of his car. The suspect reportedly refused and put the car in drive, hitting both officers while leaving.
The officers were treated and released from MetroHealth. The priest did not need medical treatment.
The suspect remains on the loose.
