A winter weather advisory is expected to go into effect at 3 p.m. for much of southern Ohio on Sunday.
ONN meteorologist Harrison Hove said that the day will start dry, but moisture is expected to return this afternoon.
Expect to see temperatures peak in the middle and upper 30s, leaving prime conditions for a wintry mix in central and southern Ohio. Expect the mix to switch over to light snow.
Snow showers are expected to continue through the evening commute and into Sunday night.
Expect conditions to dry up by Monday morning with the exception of northeast Ohio, where a lake effect snow is possible.
Arctic air is slated to arrive in Ohio on Monday.
