Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will make a campaign stop in the Cleveland area Wednesday night amid signs of a tightening primary race in Ohio.

Romney will be the keynote speaker at a GOP dinner at the Landerhaven banquet center in suburban Cleveland.

The visit comes as a new poll showed that Rick Santorum edging ahead of Romney among Republican voters in Ohio.

Romney will be in Michigan for the day before coming to Ohio at night.

Ohio is one of 10 states holding primaries on Super Tuesday, March 6.
