An Amber Alert issued for a Cleveland mother and her one-year-old daughter ended tragically on Sunday.
According to Cleveland police, Latasha Jackson, 19, her daughter, Chaniya Wynn, 1, and Thomas Lorde, 35, were all found in a garage on Union Avenue at 2:52 a.m. Sunday.
All three were found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene in an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
Police said Lorde shot the woman and her daughter before shooting himself in the head.
Lorde abducted Jackson and Wynn around 11:44 a.m. Saturday at their home in the area of E. 72nd Avenue.
An Amber Alert was issued Saturday for Jackson and Wynn.
Lorde was an estranged boyfriend of Jackson and was a known violent sexual predator with felony warrants out of New York. He was not the father of Wynn.
Police said that Lorde, 35, had an extensive criminal history and was a sexual predator.
