Pregnant Woman, Todder Killed In Hit And Run

Police in Dayton say a pregnant woman and her 3-year-old daughter were killed in a hit-and-run crash.

ONN affiliate WHIO-TV reported the two were struck by a vehicle Sunday night, apparently while they were walking in the street.

Investigators found the suspected vehicle several blocks from where the mother and daughter were hit.

Quenton Walker, 37, has been arrested on charges that include three counts each of aggravated vehicular homicide, failure to stop after an accident and tampering with evidence, according to WHIO-TV.

Darrell Chatman, 38, was arrested and also faces charges that include with three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, one count of tampering with evidence and three counts of failure to stop after an accident.

Police would not say if officers had to stop them or if they stopped on their own accord, but Dayton Police Sgt. Mark Ponichtera said they were being interviewed and they would be tested for drug and alcohol use.
