Cristin Severance

Cleveland Bureau

Cristin Severance is responsible for gathering, producing and reporting the significant stories that affect the people and communities of Northeast Ohio.

ONN's Cleveland News Bureau operates out of affiliate WEWS-TV in downtown Cleveland.

A Pittsburgh native, Severance comes to ONN from WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Fla., where she served as a reporter, covering severe weather and brush fires.

During her time at WINK-TV, she also did investigative reporting, which led her to uncover a loop-hole in the New York sex offender database that allowed a sex offender to live in Florida for six years, undetected.

Prior to WINK-TV, Severance was an anchor/reporter at WKBN-TV in Youngstown, Ohio.  She began her television career as an anchor, reporter, photographer and producer at WDTV in Clarksburg, W.Va.   She graduated cum laude from West Virginia University.

Cristin is excited to be back in this part of the country. She is passionate about journalism and believes every person has a story to tell.
