The Dayton native graduated from the University of Dayton, and started his professional career at ONN-affiliate WHIO-TV.

"I love meeting new people every day, and focusing on their stories," Wallace said.

One of the most favorite stories Wallace has covered was about a cancer survivor, named Phil.

"We talked with the whole family," Wallace said.  "His wife set up a team, called, 'Phat Phil' at the Relay For Life, and surprised him with it at the Relay For Life as a finish to the whole process.  Seeing his family together and walking the victory lap was great."

Wallace said covering breaking news and severe weather is a "real rush for me."

While he's away from work, Wallace enjoys riding his bike, watching Ohio State football and Major League Soccer.  He is also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
