A native of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Emily describes herself an "Ohio homebody" and "weather fanatic."  She is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and holds a degree in Atmospheric Sciences.

Prior to joining ONN in 2004, Emily worked at WOHL Fox 25/WLMO CBS 38 in Lima, Ohio, as a weekend meteorologist and reporter.

Despite Emily's busy schedule, she manages to find time for a few other passions besides Ohio weather. 

She loves the exploring the great outdoors and, most importantly, spending time with her family. 

Recently Emily has taken to traveling and adventure-seeking, trying out parasailing, whitewater rafting, snorkeling, and skydiving.  She is hoping to add more to the list as she goes.
