Harrison Hove
Weekend Meteorologist
In addition to delivering ONN's Weather on the 10's statewide weekend forecasts, Hove is also responsible for expanding the station's Green Ohio franchise. This entails traveling around the Buckeye State to report the "going green" efforts of Ohioans. The segments air on ONN twice a week and online.
A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Hove comes to ONN from KLFY-TV in Lafayette, La., where he served as a weekend meteorologist and environmental/weather reporter. Prior to that, he worked at WCTV-TV in Tallahassee, Fla., as an Internet reporter.
Harrison completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he received bachelor's degrees in both Telecommunications and Political Science and at Florida State, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Meteorology.
Hove is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has earned his Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal. He has the distinction of being the youngest meteorologist in the country to earn this designation.
Besides weather, Harrison's interests include politics, running and attending sporting events (he has been to four NCAA national championship football games). He enjoys anything involving the Florida Gators (we'll work on converting him).
Harrison invites you to e-mail him with "Green Ohio" story ideas or to simply say hello.
