Jessa Goddard

She is also a regular contributor to ONN franchise segments, including "Facing Recession," "Teaching Ohio" and "Pet Time." Jessa joined ONN in December 2008.
Born and raised in the Ohio Valley and educated at Ohio University, Jessa graduated from E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in Broadcast News, with a specialization in Political Communication.
She began her broadcast journalism career as a reporter at ONN's Steubenville affiliate, and soon after accepted a primary anchor position at the NBC affiliate in Clarksburg, W. Va. From there, Jessa worked at the CBS affiliate in Knoxville, Tenn., as the station's primary anchor and medical reporter.
In her spare time, Jessa has the pleasure of volunteering with the Capital Area Humane Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also continues to reintroduce herself to all the wonderful people and places that make Ohio one of the best places to live!
Jessa is passionate about animals and their causes, from family pets to those living in the wild. She has started a blog here on ONNtv.com, to bring attention to issues affecting animals. Please check it out!
Jessa lives in Columbus, and is the "pet parent" to a little boy, Shiloh.
