A Miamisburg, Ohio, native and Wright State University graduate, Riffle started his career at WHIO-TV in Dayton before working at WKEF/WRGT.

Riffle said that he loves meeting new people and telling their stories by using a camera. 

"Every day is different and you are invited to discover and share extraordinary moments with people," he said.

Riffle said that his favorite story was covering the 100th anniversary of flight in 2003.  He traveled to Dayton to cover professional kite flyers and saw some amazing things, including a man in a go-cart pulled by a kite.

Riffle also traveled to New Orleans in 2006 to cover the continuous cleanup on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.  He also covered the high school football championship game in Canton in 2006 and, a year later, covered Ohio State's BCS championship game.
