A Marshall University graduate, Klug said that his passion is shooting sports stories. 

"The feeling that I get when I am covering a sporting event is amazing," Klug said.  "It's like I have an extra boost of energy.  I have been very fortunate to cover three bowl games in my career, including Ohio State's (2008) BCS championship appearance in New Orleans."

Before his time at ONN, Klug was a photographer for six years at WOWK-TV in Charleston, W.Va. 

Klug said that he's been fortunate to interview people from baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Bench to former Iraq war prisoner Jessica Lynch.

He said his greatest moment was shooting Marshall's win over Kansas State in football, the school's only win against a top 10 opponent.

"If you saw the movie, "We Are Marshall," you may realize why a win like this was so important to a Marshall alum," Klug said.

While he's not at work, Klug said that he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, Gracie.
