Crews Busy Aiding Stranded Drivers

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A busy day for AAA Cincinnati can consist of anywhere between 700-900 calls, according to AAA spokeswoman Elaine Zienner.

That's nearly double of what they usually get, ONN's Lot Tan reported.

Law school student Adriana Zito called for help on Monday.

"I was on my way to school and heard a loud boom and my tire had a huge hole in it, I hit a manhole in the road," said Zito.

It took awhile for her call to go through, but once someone showed up, she was on the road again in 10 minutes with a repaired tire.

AAA warns during a snow storm, you should be prepared in case there's a wait for help to arrive, Tan reported.

An emergency bag should consists of a "blanket, boots, granola bars, flashlight... anything that can help with a quick fix," said Zienner.
