Robinson's own son died a few years ago, ONN's Cristin Severance reported.
"I brought my son's cross here to help Sara and show her the way to go," Robinson said.
Bishop, 24, was driving along Norton Avenue on Wednesday when her car went off to the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Bishop was pronounced dead at the scene. Her children, ages 4 and 3, were also in the car and were hospitalized.
Family members said passenger Nicole Slavings and her two children were also hurt.
"I'm devastated and I don't understand how it could happen," said Slavings' sister-in-law, Charlotte Sullivan.
Sullivan said that Slavings will be hospitalized for at least a week.
"Her spleen was taken out and she lost a pint of blood, but she should be OK," Sullivan said.
She said all four children were at Akron Children's Hospital.
"They are pretty banged up," Sullivan said. "One fractured his pelvis, has a broken ankle and busted his teeth out."
Both families said they can't figure out what caused the crash that affected so many lives.
"Now I just want to know what happened," Robinson said, "I want to know what happened to her."
Barberton Police don't think the crash was weather related. The Summit County Sheriff's office performed an autopsy on Thursday, but toxicology reports won't be back for six to eight weeks.
