John Parsons Turns up on MySpace.comAug 12 2006 11:23PMReported by Tanisha Mallett The search for John Parsons has turned up a hit, this time on the world wide web. Now investigators are trying to figure out how credible it is. MySpace.com has become the newest place to discuss opinions on the search for John Parsons, including a profile from someone who claims to be Parsons. Just about everyone is talking about John Parsons, but MySpace.Com is a place where Parsons seems to be speaking for himself. In the latest update the person says, "these last two weeks have really been hard," and "I am no killer so please before you judge me ask." There are also other postings from those who say they support Parsons. They talk about how they know him, times they've shared with him and why they think he's getting a bad rap. A spokesperson for Ross County Sheriff Ron Nichols says the Sheriff is aware of the site, but says he does not believe Parsons is actually posting on MySpace.com. Meantime, he says the task force met again Saturday afternoon and the investigation is moving forward. Parsons escaped from the Ross County jail back on July 29th. That prompted a nearly week-long, 'round-the-clock manhunt. Several people claimed to have seen Parsons in the woods, but after the arrest of Parson's mother and his friend, Parsons himself is nowhere to be found. |
