Missing Girl Believed to be with Grandmother

Reported by Eric James

This morning, there is a frantic search for a missing 3-year-old girl police believe was taken by her grandmother.

Destiny Schmidt's father Jeremy Ruh believes she is with her maternal grandmother Diana Coalgrove, who once had custody of the young girl.

This morning, Coalgrove is charged with one count of interference with custody.

Ruh fears that Destiny is not getting the medical attention she needs that she is in danger. Destiny suffers with a rare form of Spina Bifida and chronic bronchitis.

"They won't escalate the charges, they don't believe she's in danger, which I think is just a complete farce because she's with her maternal grandmother that has no place to live and no money. It's just stupid and ridiculous. Nobody knows where my daughter is, how does that constitute her not being in danger?" Ruh said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information regarding Destiny's whereabouts.
