WELLINGTON, Ohio - A teenager was arrested after relatives discovered that his parents had been shot on Saturday night.

Police in Lorain County said Daniel Petric shot his mother, Sue Petric, in the head twice and his father, Marc Petric, several times.

Sue Petric died at the scene, police said. Marc Petric was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. He remained in serious condition.

Marc and Sue Petric were both preachers at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Wellington.

Police arrested Daniel Petric, 16, while he was driving his parents' car. Charges had not been filed.

The shootings remained under investigation.
